time, has many things to be told
time, has many lessons to be learned
time, holds so much wisdom we have missed
time, tells many longings we have wished
time, measures what we can achieve
time, gives us futures to accomplish dreams
time, it passes quickly use it wisely
time, OH!! It's time for lunch

took this poem from one of the most talented singer Hong Kong singer Khalil Fong's blog. given his humor and weird personality, i have a feeling that he composed the poem.

like Pong Nan, he writes most of his songs and probably for other artistes also. just can't enough of the talented HK singers! his songs are in Mandrian and are pretty good so if you want to listen to them, just let me know.

should check out his blog, it's pretty witty and funny.

Hard Fate
(starting next Tuesday 13 March Channel U 10 pm)

Cast:
Flora Chan
Damien Lau
Kevin Cheng
Niki Chow
Maggie Siu
Stephen Au
Hawick Lau
Lo Yuen Yan

Guest Stars:
Michael Tong
Michelle Yip
Sherming Yiu
Mark Kwok

Summary:The story of this series uses jade industry as its background so the theme of this story will use jade as its focus. The story will cross over the 20s, 40s from the last century and contemporary(ie, 2003) to bring out a story using different people from different time-period and of their complicate life stories. There is a mystical antique piece of jade called "Wo Hop Yee Sin" that will affect different characters in this series such as Flora chan, Damien Lau, Niki Chow, Kevin Cheng, Stephen Au, Maggie Siu, Michelle Yip, Mark Kwok and Michael Tong(Mark Kwok, Michael Tong and Michelle Yip are just guest-starring, and they'll enact their story in the 1920s).

If anyone wonders why this series theme is so similar to Maggie Cheung and Lawrence Ng's jade series, that's b/c this is the one, similar one that was featured in the promotional tv-presentation a while ago. Flora Chan plays a jewelry designer who will have a relationship with Kevin Cheng and Damien Lau. Producer Wong Sum Wai said she went to Myanmar to do researching for this series and called jewel dealers to sponsor b/c there are going to be a couple jewelry conventions and auctions later that need real jade stones. People could tell the stones are fake if they don't use real ones. So, they'll have body guards to guard them later. Niki Chow plays Damien Lau's daughter who will also have a relationship with Kevin Cheng. Maggie Siu plays a jewelry designer and an assistant to Damian Lau and liking Damian also

I'm looking forward to this show! I saw the last 5 eps of this show last year and I was regretting why I couldn't have caught this show earlier. It is one of the better serials of TVB, considering the great acting and the amazing chemistry between Kevin and Niki.

The only drawback is the relationship between Flora and Damien. I think it is worse than the relationship between Zoe and Sam in Triumph In The Sky. I don't know what TVB is doing, keep on adding relationships that have huge generation gaps when they should realize that that is not their forte. Other than that, it is a great series to watch on the weekdays.
